Mofleh Al Adwan has won a four month residency at camac as part of the Unesco Aschberg Bursaries for Artists programme. He was awarded the residency for his research project "Myths link different genres and lay the ground for one-earth civilisation" as well as for his three stories "The Speckled Ones", "A Tree Overhead" and "The fly". Born in Zarka in 1966, Adwan studied chemical engineering at the University of Jordan. He is a member of both the Jordan Writers Association and the Jordan Engineers Association.
