Natalia Blanch (Argentina) lives and works in the United-States. After having studied painting in Cordoba, she turned towards new technology and performance. Her work explores and interrogates the different systems of communication and criticizes the spiritual and political interpretations. “Impermanencia / Impermanence” is the result of her residency at camac as a Unesco-Aschberg Bursary winner.
“The work developed at camac is a reflection on the communication and ability among human beings to understand themselves. Impermanence, for me, is related with the metaphysical concept of transcendence and the notion of fragility and danger caused by the expansion of wars and social crisis. By manipulating text and the sounds of words, I try to interrogate their power of communication or non-communication.”
