Graduated from Oxford University in 2000, this young artist currently works as a freelance writer and art practicioner. She has published variously as a poet, won three British competitions and she is now editing her first collection for publication. She was the youngest winner of an Arts Council writing grant in 2002, and has since won further funding in 2003. Challenger is currently working on the first libretto to use The Diary of Anne Frank, to be premiered and published by Chester Music in 2004.
