Arquímedes González is a nicaraguan writer born in 1972 that began his career in 2002 whit his fiction novel La Muerte de Acuario (The Aquarius' Death). The story narrates the arrival of Jack the Ripper in Nicaragua in 1889 and detective Sherlock Holmes in his pursuit.

In 2007 he published Qué sola estás Maité (Look how lonely you are Maité), fiction novel about María, a woman who migrates from Nicaragua to Costa Rica after hurricane Mitch

The same year he won an honorary mention in the Central American literary prize Rogelio Sinán awarded in Panama for the short story book Conduciendo a la salvaje Mercedes (Driving the wild Mercedes).

During his writer residence in Camac, González explore in a novel, the conflicts between a father and a son.
